Brooklyn Robot Foundry is a hands-on STEM education company offering robotics-based classes, camps, and parties for kids ages 5 to 14 (with adult sessions available too). Programs run online and in-person year-round, built around hands-on, screen-free, open-ended learning. Every session centers on a build-your-own-robot experience, where kids design, construct, and personalize a robot to take home, blending engineering fundamentals with open-ended creative expression.

Our Mission Is Personal
We were founded by an engineer-mom who wanted a program where kids of any background, skill level, or personality type could feel like they belonged in a STEAM classroom, not just the ones who already saw themselves as "science kids." That's why inclusivity and creative self-expression sit alongside engineering skills as core parts of the curriculum, and why the model has scaled through franchising rather than treating one flagship location as the ceiling — the goal is getting more kids, in more cities, the chance to build something they're proud of.
We exist because most STEM education for young kids leans heavily on screens, worksheets, and standardized outcomes — and the founders believed there was a better way for kids who learn through hands-on experiences.
In a landscape often dominated by rote assessment methods, the company set out to build a love of learning through the hands-on experience of actually building something real. The robot isn't just a toy at the end of class — it's proof that a kid can take an idea, engineer it, and walk out the door with it.
Every class reflects our commitment to positively impacting the next generation, one neighborhood at a time.
